Almost everyone has had days where they just didn't have the energy to get out of bed or just couldn't wake up. What about around 2 or 3pm when you feel like you need a nap. Our body's natural rhythm goes up an down, where we have higher periods of energy and periods of relaxation. The problem occurs when more energy is required than we feel like we can give. This is about the time where people use energy drinks, pills, coffee, or soda to try to increase their energy levels. However the problem with these products is the sugar and caffeine may pick you up for a couple of hours but by the time your energy is drained you are more tired and less focused than before you took them.
