Nephrotic Syndrome Caused by Kidney Damage

Nephrotic syndrome is actually a group of multiple symptoms that are caused by damage that has occurred to the glomeruli of the kidneys which are the small blood vessels responsible for the filtering of waste products and excess fluids from our blood. The glomeruli also help us to retain a sufficient level of protein in our blood which is important in order to regulate the amount of fluids that are contained in the blood as the protein works in such as manner that it acts like a sponge soaking up our excess fluids.
