What is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (RSI) And What Causes It?
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a repetitive stress injury (RSI.) The reason why it is known as Carpal tunnel syndrome is the structure of area affected in this injury. Your wrist consists of the bones known as carpals that form a tunnel. Through this carpal tunnel, the median nerve passes to the hand. CTS is basically an injury in and around the wrist and forearm area that mostly occurs in dominant wrist. Rarely, it can also occur in both hands of patients.
